Lexus customised hybrids 2011

http://carwallpaper-populer.blogspot.com/

Lexus has let some of America's top custom car specialists loose on its hybrid models to mark its return this week to the 2010 SEMA auto trade show in Las Vegas. The result is a jaw-dropping display of giant rims, flared wheelarches, dazzling paintwork and outrageous body kits, plus high-performance axles, suspension systems and brakes.
Lexus has worked its own magic on the CT 200h, creating an F Sport Concept version of its soon-to-be-launched full hybrid luxury hatchback, fitting it out with 18 x 8-inch alloys with Pirelli PZero Nero 225/40R/18 tyres, adjustable suspension and shocks and a high-performance Big Brake Kit, with mighty 12.9 x 11-inch cross-drilled front discs. It may be a show concept, but it demonstrates just what an F Sport version of CT 200h might deliver.
0-60 Magazine has taken the GS 450h sports saloon and added a raft of performance and handling upgrades to increase the car's fun factor on road and track. The Custom Carbon five-piece body kit includes an outrageous rear wing, while the hot hybrid also gains a GReddy performance titanium racing exhaust, racing dampers and springs from TEIN USA, Brembo Gran Turismo brakes and forged racing wheels from Rays Engineering.
Fox Marketing's Lexus LS 600h L is SEMA's "greenest" limousine by far, with its special Glacier Green and Satin Black paintwork. The bold colour scheme is matched by a full Artisan Spirit body kit with skirts, smoked tail-lights, twin rear wings and a front light bar. The car rides on Rotiform concave 20-inch BLQ wheels with a "candy copper" finish and it hugs the ground thanks to an adjustable ride height system. Modified Lexus/SSBC brakes are fitted – 14-inch front discs with four-piston callipers and 13.2-inch discs at the rear, and as a finishing touch, the Lexus emblems have a satin black finish.
VIP Auto Saloon's take on the LS is lean, low and luxurious, with a customised interior (created together with Top Stitch), 21-inch WALD Mahora M11c polished machined black wheels and customised air suspension with a JoeZ Series rear axle system from Performance Tube Systems. Fifteen-inch Brembo discs with six-piston monoblock callipers are fitted and the car is turned out in a metallic bronze PPG paint finish.
The RX 450h – Lexus's top selling North American model – has been transformed by Paul Tolson of EST Styling with a clean and mean new look, using a Hired Gun Paint Werks wide-body conversion kit. Add Leon Hardiritt 21-inch rims – -4 offset at the front and +9 offset at the rear – and an integrated Air Runner suspension system and you have a formidable full hybrid street machine like no other.

Chevrolet Corvette Z06X

Corvette is a mainstay on racing circuits ranging from LeMans to club racing. Chevrolet’s Corvette Z06X Concept suggests a new idea and components for transforming a production Corvette into a serious, closed-course track car.
The Corvette Z06X Concept showcases how an enthusiast can leverage Chevrolet’s expanding portfolio of performance parts to create a full-on track car. Chevrolet teamed with Pratt and Miller, partners in Corvette Racing in the American LeMans Series, to create this Z06X track car concept.

“Racing is an integral part of Corvette performance and technology,” said Tadge Juechter, Corvette chief engineer. “This concept car represents a mid-point between our GT race car and the production Z06, prepared by the team responsible for the Corvette Racing C6.R race cars, and featuring many performance parts owners can choose today.”
The Z06X concept is based on the Corvette Z06 with the 1LZ equipment package, along with the Z07 Performance Package and CFZ Carbon Fiber Package. The 2011 Z06 with the Z07 package creates the lightest production Corvette and includes carbon ceramic brakes and Magnetic Ride Control, while the CFZ package offers body components that enhance aerodynamic down force on the race track, including a front splitter.
The Z06X Concept features competition-oriented modifications including: an adjustable carbon fiber rear wing, a polycarbonate rear window, roll cage, racing seat and safety harness, racing wheels, suspension enhancements – including coil-over struts with fully adjustable camber plates – racing-spec cooling system and more. The radio, carpeting and sound-deadening material are also removed.
The concept vehicle wears a low-gloss Icy White Metallic exterior color, accented with exposed carbon fiber body components and red trim. It rides on black racing wheels and racing tires. The interior is all business, with a racing seat, window net and roll cage-mounted camera system. It includes a racing pedal kit, a Genuine Corvette Accessory.

“It’s a classic case of form following function,” said Dave Ross, design manager. “The exterior color and accents were carefully selected to enhance the Corvette’s racing-influenced design, but there’s nothing superfluous in the Z06X’s design – everything is there for a reason.”

2008 Audi Q7 S Line 2010

The new Audi Q7 represents a new superlative in the SUV (Sport Utility Vehicles) segment. It produces the performance of a sports car on the road, while redefining the boundaries of a vehicle in this category off-road. The sporty characteristics of the Audi Q7 are further enhanced by the equipment package “S line sports package plus”: sports suspension, sports seats and cast aluminium wheels up to 21 inches in size turn the performance SUV into an athlete. The “S line exterior package” is the new sporty custom-made outfit for the Audi Q7 that adds attractive visual touches on the outside. The two equipment packages from quattro GmbH can be ordered separately or together from the middle of 2006. The Audi Q7 3.0 TDI quattro and the Audi Q7 4.2 FSI quattro will be launched in Germany at the start of March 2006.
S line sports package plus
The new “S line sports package plus” for the Audi Q7 from quattro GmbH gives the performance SUV an even more emotional and sporty character. With its dynamic spring/shock absorber settings, the S line sports suspension conveys pure driving pleasure. The vehicle is lowered by 10 millimetres compared with models fitted with the standard suspension. 9Jx20 cast aluminium wheels of 5 spoke design with size 275/45 R 20 tyres give the vehicle its athletic appearance. S line logos on the front left and right wings and on the door sill trims are further distinguishing features of the Audi Q7 S line.
Inside the vehicle, electrically adjustable front sports seats in a combination of Alcantara/Leather and with an embossed S line logo on the backrests provide excellent lateral support. The 3-spoke leather multifunction sports steering wheel with S line emblem and the gear lever gaiter are covered in smooth black leather, the gear knob in perforated leather.
The black trimmed interior and headlining contrast with the matt brushed S line aluminium inlays to produce additional sporty touches. Fine grain birch wood grey inlays can be ordered as an alternative. The Audi driver information system is also part of the package.
20-inch cast aluminium wheels of 20-spoke design or 21-inch cast aluminium wheels of 7 twin-spoke design are available as an option. Thanks to the optionally available shift paddles on the leather multifunction steering wheel, the driver can also change the gears of the 6-speed tiptronic automatic transmission manually, without taking his or her hands off the steering wheel. In addition to the standard colours, the exclusive exterior colours Daytona Grey, pearl effect and Mugello Blue, pearl effect are offered as options.

S line exterior package
The “S line exterior package” for the Audi Q7 comprises particularly attractive components. The front bumper, the side cooling grilles, the lower door trims and the diffuser insert all have a striking sporty design. The lower sections of the front and rear bumpers, the lower door trims and the diffuser insert are all painted in the body colour, the radiator grille is painted Brilliant Black. The package includes S line logos on the front wings and the door sill trims as well as a headlight washer system.
Prices
The “S line sports package plus” costs €5,290 for the Audi Q7 3.0 TDI quattro and €2,980 for the Audi Q7 4.2 FSI quattro. The “S line exterior package” costs €1,900 for both models. A price discount of €200 is offered if the “S line exterior package” is ordered in conjunction with the “S line sports package plus”. New kit for the Q7 includes an adaptive package for the cruise control that uses short-wave radar to maintain a preset speed and distance from the car in front by braking and accelerating. This operates from a standstill to 124mph and will also warn if the vehicle is too close to the car in front by pulsing the brake pedal. It is probably just about worth the extra £1,225.
